Back 2 Skool!!!!

Sup my gigga's!! Another year has come an almost gone! Time seems to be relative, but when you got your head down, listening to your music like Schroeder the world seems to rotate x^2 as fast. (where x = time) lol, yeah i'm in a math class right now!

This latest mix is I have to say, the best mix I have done. The selections on this cd range from underground hip-hop to IDM. Each of these songs is a peice of me being displayed for you to comprehend musically.

To grab the E-copy of the new mix CD, one will have to download it from (drop.io/gimpojones). I have been using this site for the last year, but unfortunately they are selling out to Facebook. The site will be dropped on Dec 15th. So I won't have a spot to stick these mixes electronically, but only for a bit.

Since it's getting close to the holidays, I'm going to be out looking to touch base with my fans! lol So I'll have these mixes on me. So look out for me when I post where I'll be going the next few months so you can pick up a CD! It's time to spread the word of gimpojones.

Happy Halloween!!!!!!

Since I was a child, this holiday has always sparked such a curiosity for those things that were outside the norm of my Christian upbringing. Seeing the fall leaves turn colours watching the squirrels bury and re-bury nuts to stash away for the winter. Drinking hot tea and cider, watching my mom roast potatoes and chicken. Plopping down in front of the television to watch Charlie Brown's, The Great Pumpkin. Begging my mother to let me wear something a bit more ghoulish, to trick or treat. Walking with friends around the adjacent developments looking for haunted houses. But settling for the overly decorated houses with the sound tracks of creaking doors. Then to the trading of the candy, where my sisters and I would haggle for particular candy bits we enjoyed, and eventually get sick on them. I know, that a lot of people say it's consumerism and it's not what Halloween was originally about. But it's really about how you celebrate the holiday, and for me, I will continue to decorate and carve pumpkins, and enjoy sharing that reverence with my children and those in my township. However, a bon fire is a good idea, (any excuse to party!) Happy Halloween!!

BmoreBox

Finally I have something that I have created myself. Bmorebox is a series of songs that use techno melodies with hip-hop beats. Originally created to be the set of songs in a side scrolling video game, I've tweaked the original beats to give people something to listen to.

The naming of the cd came from eating chicken boxes. Each of the song names are the street names of some of the better places to get a chicken box. And well of course I'm gonna say the joint on Tivoly has the best box hands down.
