I hit my man Chris up last week that used to work at a record store here in Baltimore called Soundgarden. I always ask him to put me up on the latest bangers. He turned me onto Jazzanova some years ago and I'm glad that he did. This time he told me to check out a group called Owusu and Hannibal. I got the CD, and instantly, one of the songs on this CD had become my favorite song of 2009 so far. Good Lookin Chris!!! The song I am referring to is called 'Le Fox'. The song immediately following Le Fox is called 'A Million Babies' which Owusu and Hannibal chops up 'Steve Spacek feat. Jay Dee & Frank n Drank - Eve (Jay Dee Remix)' to make the beat. Don't get me wrong Heav was always cool but, he put his swagger meter on tilt with this, I'm glad to see people my age doing and not looking foolish (Q-Tip, Heavy D, and Epmd)  are still bringing it and they are not trying to fit in to what the kids think or Madison ave thinks is hip hop.
